How to Give a Kitty a Good Bath

Maldita gave her kitten a good bath. It is the nature of the mother to keep her babies clean and neat. Also cats are really into the hygiene thing especially after meals. She did not allowed her kitten to just sleep after eating lunch :D

Kittens Enjoying the Sun

They like sunbathing. :D We are aware that being exposed to the sun on the right time and right amount of it, is good for the body. Animals are aware of that as well. We can observe that they exposed their bodies to the sun on some occasions and just enjoying it. Lulu and Lily are sunbathing buddies. :D

Mama cat feeding her two kittens and there was a meower on the background. That black cat meowing for either food or attention, and that is Maw. He also adopted us as, at first he just came around for foods when he was little until he decided to be a resident cat as well.

Mika

Mika is our official first cat. :)

We have been giving some foods on some strays before Mika came to us, but he was the first cat that we owned or owned us. Mika's first family moved in another place and he was left behind. At first, he was just coming in for meal times cause there were three dogs in the household and one of those dogs which is Dinky chase cats. So, when feeding Mika, he should be placed on a higher place. Until our Dinky died, he was able to come inside the house and started to be a resident cat already.

I believed Mika was born in year 2008 and sadly to say that he is no longer with us since 2014. His death was traumatic to me cause it was unexpected. I can still remember the night I called him to get inside and sleep cause it was around 11PM to midnight already; as he sleeps inside of my room. He came and walking towards me, I observed that he was bit slow as I even told him that do not walk too slow and get inside cause it was time to sleep. I was not worried seeing him a bit low energy that time cause he was not sick  and even ate his dinner that night. The last moment I saw him alive was when he jumped on my bed then go down of the bed and lay on the floor in my side facing me, thought that he just like to sleep on the floor that time.

Then I woke up in the morning and went to the bathroom, I was shocked that my feet bumped something in the bathroom floor and it was his dead body lying in there. I cannot believed it and even tried to wake him although I could feel that his body was already cold. Possible reasons that we thought about his death were he was poisoned by someone who did not want cats around or been hit in the head but no blood. So sad that I was not able to at least comfort him on his last moments of life.

Mika was still remembered especially this day. He died June 25, 2014.

Bokaner

We called him Bokaner cause he meows a lot especially when asking for foods of course. :D

"Boka" can be defined in English as sound or talks as maboka means talkative. He was a stray cat as he was abandoned near in our place. But I somewhat believed that he was bit taken cared of by some neighbors and heard them call him Panda mainly because of his spot on his  eye.

Sadly that the last time I saw Bokaner was in the morning of January 1, 2017 as he went on the neighbor's place, he spent the New Year's eve with us.

Tanda

We called him Tanda which means "old" in English. I started to noticed him in the neighborhood around two to three years ago. We believed his a stray cat and he started as "come and go" after meal times in our compound. As time gone by, he also just stay around and sleep in our vicinity but he will always run whenever you will try to touch him.

The first and last time I was able to touched him was last May 28, 2017. He suddenly not running away anymore and just resting inside our gate. I placed water and food near him but he was not even interested so, I know it was already his time to go. He probably was too old already as his skin showed it and the sound of his meow implied. He looked too tried already and told him it was okay to rest while trying to pet him. Later that day he died. He was in heaven together with other fur babies I have cared and loved before, another guardian angel.

Lulu

Lulu was the first one that was bought in by her mama cat. Nice that she just stays inside the compound and being around always. Lulu is more aggressive than Lily cause she  growls when  munching a food especially meat. I think maybe she thinks it was a live prey that is why she growls. :D

Lily Disappeared Last Night

Lily disappeared or got lost last night. Not sure what was the exact time cause I was out in the afternoon and got home at around 9PM. I looked for her immediately when I got home but no trace of her. Later that night I heard a kitty meowing/crying and looked for it but it was not Lily. 

First thing I did this morning was to look for her but still no luck. After 3 hours I returned home to rest and will try to eat. While resting, I heard a meow on the gate so, I immediately looked and it was Lily! She seemed to be stressed and I grab her to give some food. She was hungry and I wondered where she came or if someone intentionally placed her somewhere. 

It seemed not possible to know what really happened to her but good thing that she was able to return home. :D

Lily and Lulu

These two cute kittens are babies of Maldita. :D

She first brought in Lulu and so, I thought she only had one kitty. But later, she also brought Lily and these two would not go away anymore just like their mama cat. They will always greet me in the morning and of course meow for foods.

Both are females as what their names implied. Also both are their mama's lookalike as they are  both black and white.  I hope they will both grew up healthy and not as fierce as their mama. Showing them affection at their early age will make a lot of difference for sure. :D

Maw

Around November last year, there was a black cat who came in our gate meowing a lot for food. So, I started throwing some foods outside the gate for that cat. :D

Therefore he stayed outside the gate and meowing whenever I was in the gate. At first I was the one trying to convince the cat to get inside to eat together with some strays but the cat was cautious getting near to people. Later I could catch the cat inside and eating our Kulit's (our dog) food. 

Until that cat do not want to get out of the gate anymore and just staying inside the compound. So we decided to name him cause it seemed no way to get away with him anymore. :D

He was named Maw cause of the sound of his meowing and he is a loud "meower". :P

Maw is probably 10-11 months old now.

Maldita

I believe she is or was a neighbor's cat but she was not well taken cared of so, she become more of a stray cat in the neighborhood. At first, I dislike her cause she is the "enemy" of our cat Mimi. She actually caused wounds on Mimi several times cause she is fierce compared to our Mimi that grew up being our baby. :D

Even we tried to make her away from our place and roof, she kept coming back cause we are placing foods for the other strays. When she got pregnant, we allowed her to come around to eat more often cause she needs it, just made her keep her distance from our Mimi.

She almost gave birth in our vicinity but she did not find a place cause there are also cats around and so, she gave birth in the neighbors place. After giving birth, she keeps coming back to eat during meal times until she brought her baby in. We were hesitant to accept it cause we do not have a plan of having additional cat in our household. But she insisted and later she brought in another one, she had two babies.

So now, we can say that they adopted us and we named her Maldita which means quite "Mean" in English cause she is our Mimi's enemy. Good thing she seemed to be less fierce now but still quite mean. :D
