Today I will be sharing some photos of Mimi. She is playful and
sometimes it is hard to find where is she is sleeping cause she have
her hiding places. Mimi is sweet and more than 3 years old already. :)
Photos featuring the Mama cat and her 2 kittens. Nice to see/watch
them eating on the same bowl and I hope that they will still be as
sweet as this when the kittens both all grown up. They have a bigger
bowl outside. :)
Below are photos of Maw the black cat and Lulu one of the kittens.
Sad to say that these photos will be the last set of photos featuring
Maw that I could post here. Maw crossed the rainbow bridge last July 26,
2017. Missing him and hope he felt all the love he deserves while with
us. The memories will always be in our hearts.
Its been more than a week of oral antibiotics and cleaning her wound.
Good thing that it is almost completely healed in this day. I am still
cleaning the area and putting betadine, and the cream that was
prescribed. Also good thing that she did not lost her appetite despite
adding medications in her food. It was easier to feed her with her
medication than to actually clean the wound. :P
Her recent photos below.
It is really important to check your pet constantly after spay or
neuter surgery to know whether it all went right or something went
wrong. Also to immediately see and act on possible infection like in the
case of our cat.
Video for today is a playful Maw. He really liked hanging out and playing with the kittens. He occasionally gave the kittens their bath even he is not a father. :)
We went to the veterinary clinic already and good thing that it
was just an outside kind of infection. The vet advised me that the
infected wound should be cleaned daily until it was totally
closed/healed. Mama cat also needs oral medications for one week and we
will go back again in the clinic after that for follow up check up.
I felt relieved that it was not serious and hoping that it will be totally healed the soonest possible. Thank God. :)
Her medications below.
As the title says, I just discovered that her incision got
infected (August 10). It is almost midnight here and so, I need to wait until
tomorrow morning if I will be able to bring her to vet.
I felt nervous seeing her spay area with abscess and bit open. I have been looking at it for days and it was just till yesterday that it seems not normal and tonight, it was obviously with abscess. I gave her some antibiotics now as first aid for it and hoping that it is nothing so serious.
It seems normal these past days so I am thinking that probably the infection started inside. I really hope that it is nothing serious for her health/life and it will be something that I can afford.
She got spayed last July 19 so, it means that it was 22 days already. Why did it happened? I have been monitoring it and it suddenly became infected. So sad.
Another group photos for today remembering the life of Maw the
black cat with the other cats in the house. They have been really good
together. They enjoyed eating and hanging out together. With their black
and white colors, they really look good together.
